Choosing a Family

Adoption for Families has an extensive screening process for all of our adoptive families. We assist our families with the completion of their Family Profiles to share with you. We feel it is very important to establish a personal relationship with our adoptive families so we may assist you in finding the right family for your baby.

Adoption Options

There are two types of adoptions available to you. The most frequently used option is a semi-open adoption. When meeting with the adoptive families; only first names are used. This type of adoption is designed to be a secure and stable way for both families to establish a relationship with one another. The second option available is a closed adoption. With this type of adoption the birth family and adoptive family do not meet. You may choose the family or allow your adoption specialist to do so.
